Mengyuan is located in beautiful bushland, 10 minutes off the Bruce Highway, near the township of Gin Gin, inland from the city of Bundaberg and the Wide Bay/Coral Coast, midway between Brisbane and Rockhampton/Gladstone, Queensland, Australia.

Rest for the evening in comfort in your well appointed guest bedroom with queen sized double bed, large mirrored built-in wardrobes, bedside tables and lamps, ceiling fan, electric blanket and a heater for those few cool nights during winter, clock and radio, and cast iron table and chairs on the veranda. In-room free-to-air television is available if required.
Relax in the lounge/reading area and watch the fish or read a book. There are the usual diversions of course, such as games (chess, Mah-jongg, scrabble, darts, table tennis), music (CD & satellite), library, and radio & TV (both free-to-air & satellite) & video library (VCR & VCD).
Awake to splendid country views through your own glass sliding doors opening onto the wide all round verandas. Relax in front of the pond and fountain, taking in the sounds of the local frog and bird life. Take a walk around the property and experience the pleasures and delights of the many hidden gullies.
Take a soothing dip in the hydro massaging spa, overlooking the gullies and orchard. In the cool of the evening, lay back in the warmth of the spa, with your favourite drink, and admire a spectacular star-filled sky, crossed with meteors.

Regional attractions include turtle rookeries, whale watching, the home of Bundaberg Rum, Bundaberg Sugar, Tropical Wines, sugar cane and the burnoff, scuba diving, the Great Barrier Reef, Lady Elliott Island, Lady Musgrave Island, Cania Gorge, and 140 kilometres of unspoiled, stinger free beaches.
Mengyuan is a working property. There are pets, flower gardens, vegetable gardens, poultry, sheep, donkeys, irrigated orchard, dry-grown orchard, experimental vineyard, olive groves , all grown organically without the use of artificial chemicals, two large dams, delightful gullies, and spectacular Australian flora and fauna. Mengyuan produces organic olive leaf extract, olive oil soaps, fruit wines, and jams and marmalades.
