Just a short car journey from Edinburgh and Glasgow airport takes you into the Kingdom of Fife. Staying in this corner of Scotland offers you easy access to the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh, and also gives you the chance to stay in a country setting at the same time. The Watch House is set in an elevated position in a wonderful old fishing village only 9 miles from St Andrews. This area is a golfers paradise with not only the famous Old Course, but many of the British Open qualifying courses within easy distance.
The Watch House was built as a watch tower for smugglers in 1782 and has been renovated to a high standard. The " Cupid Room " on the top floor has 3 gothic arched windows with a relaxing window seat overlooking The Isle of May.
The Middle twin bedroom has the same wonderful views. During renovations the original old stone walls were revealed in the lounge along with an original oak beam datind from the 1780's. SEE PICTURES at
